Will I be asked to participate in the show?

Only if you want to!
Please note that a few audience members may be called on to participate in the show. If you do not wish to participate or have any concerns or sensitivities about such participation 
such as to suggestive comedy and/or physical contact, please advise the Front of House Manager, who greets all audience members on arrival, when you arrive at the show.

Can I request a refund for purchased tickets?

No. Unfortunately, refunds are not permitted. However, a transfer to another performance night is possible at a fee of $10.00 per ticket, depending on availability.
Bacio Rosso must be contacted no later than 24 hours prior to an event time in order to process a date change request.

Where does the show take place?

The Spiegeltent will be set up in the South Parking Lot of Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, BC.

Is there parking available on site?

Yes! There is plenty of street parking within Queen Elizabeth Park. We would recommend parking along the street leading up to the Queen Elizabeth Park South Parking Lot. As with all street parking though, it is on a first come first serve basis so we recommend arriving early to ensure a spot is available for you!

When does the show start?

Show times are as follows:
Monday-Saturday: 7:00pm
Sunday: 6:00pm

The doors to the lobby and bar are open 60 minutes prior to the show, so feel free to join us for a drink before the show! If you are not able to arrive early for a drink, we still strongly encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes before show time, to ensure that our staff can get you seated and have your dinner experience coordinated in advance of the show.

Will I be at a private table with only the guests from my group?

Yes and no. You choose the section that best suits you (Centre, Booth or Ring), and when you arrive, our team will sit you in the best possible seats in your seating classification on the night of the show. Groups who buy tickets together are always seated together, but depending on the size of your group and how many guests need to be seated that night, you may be placed at adjacent tables or at a table shared with other guests.

Are there vegetarian / vegan options on the menu?

Yes! Our Chef has designed Vegetarian / Vegan options for all courses. If you have any other dietary restrictions please let us know.

Can I order beverages during the show?

Yes! You may order drinks from your table or at the bar. You will be billed for your beverage purchases at the end of the night.

Do I need to exit the show immediately after the show ends?

Absolutely not! Guests are encouraged to have an after-dinner drink at the bar and/or mingle with artists.

Is beverage service included in the ticket price?

The ticket price includes the show and your four-course gourmet meal. Beverages can be ordered and purchased at the show. You will be billed at the end of the night for any drinks purchased at the show, and we ask that you please tip your server for the beverage service provided!

How long is the show?

The show is an immersive 3-hour experience. There are no formal breaks so you are welcome to leave your table at any time but we would suggest that those breaks should be taken during the meal service segments of the night.

Can I smoke anywhere on site?

Unfortunately, due to the City of Vancouver and Provincial bylaws, smoking is prohibited on site as it is situated in a park.

How many people can fit at a table in all of the sections, respectively?

The booths seat up to 7 comfortably. The ring tables seat 6 comfortably. In the centre we have seating for groups of 4, 6, 8, or 10.

If I have food allergies and/or dietary restrictions, would there be other meal options for me?

Our Chef, Adam Pegg created most of the menu to be gluten-free, including the Eggplant Lasagna in the Primi course, which is made using a chickpea flour (and is absolutely DELICIOUS!).

As for the main entrée choices, the Polenta with Mushrooms is gluten-free and vegan.

When you are placing your order online, after you make your entrée selection (before you pay) there will a question box for indicating your allergies. Please indicate in that box any dietary restrictions or preferences for you and/or anyone in your group. As an example, you may indicate that you cannot eat gluten or tomatoes, etc. in this box.

Is there a dress code for the event?

No. However, you will not feel out of place in our antique, art nouveau, Spiegeltent dressed in your finest. Feel free to be creative and/or dust off something special from your wardrobe!

Do I have to dress warm for the show?

The Spiegel Palace will be adequately heated, but a throw over option doesn't hurt! Especially if you are a person who gets cold easily.

Can I take photos?

You are welcome to take photos in the lobby before and after the show. But to ensure the safety of our artists, photography and videography during the show is not permitted.

Do you offer a senior discount of any sort?

Unfortunately, we are not offering a senior discount.

Can I purchase a ticket at the venue on the night of the show?

Yes, ticket purchase at the venue is possible depending on availability. It is always better to purchase in advance but if you have someone you wish to add at the last minute, please bring them along and we will do our best to accommodate if possible.

Can I ask to sit with another party?

If you would like to sit with another party (who bought their tickets separately), please indicate when making your online booking under the "Please Describe All Dietary Restrictions" box and list the reservation name of the party you wish to be seated with. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences, however on heavily booked or Sold Out dates we cannot guarantee your request. All parties who buy their tickets together will be seated together in accordance with available table configurations.

Can I bring my children?

There is no age restriction at the show, but it may feature some innuendo, coarse language, and loud music.
For safety reasons, no children under 6 (including infants), prams or strollers are allowed in the Tent.

Can I bring my own wine?

Yes. For a $50 corkage fee you can bring your favorite wine. However, we have done extensive research to perfect our wine list and make sure our wines pair seamlessly with the food on our menu.

How does the tipping/gratuity work?

The bill you get at the end of the night will be for your beverages, and we ask that you please tip accordingly on this amount.

Can I bring my service animal to the show?

Yes, you may bring your service animal to the show. Please let us know when purchasing your ticket (or as soon as possible) if you will be bringing a service animal with you to the show.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept cash, major credit cards and debit payments on site. We currently do not take debit cards for online ticket purchases, but we can take debit cards at the tent (to pay for drinks).

What is the difference in view of the show between the sections?

The room is very intimate and all seating is quite close to the action. The booths would be farthest from the centre stage at about 28 feet and the ring tables are at 22 feet. Centre seating is right in the heart of the action. The performers move throughout the room during the performance making it a fully immersive experience.

Do you accommodate wheelchairs?

Absolutely! The Centre, Premium Ring, and Ring sections are all wheelchair friendly. The Centre section is the most optimal for wheelchairs in terms of spacing. We do have a few spots that would fit wheelchairs in the Premium Ring and Ring sections, however the amount of spots we can fit wheelchairs in these sections is limited. With that being said, please let us know about any accessibility issues you or members of your party might have as soon as possible after your tickets have been purchased, to ensure that we are properly prepared.

If my group grows in size, or I order before looking into group sales, can I transfer my order to that department and get a refund on my online charges after I've already paid for my tickets?

Any purchases completed through the website will not be eligible for a retroactive refund on the group bookings discount.
